Marking the 11thsign of the zodiac, falling after Capricorn and before Pisces, Aquarius season spans from January 20 to February 18 each year.

Celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas tells PEOPLE exclusively that 2024 "brings many opportunities for all zodiac signs" in various facets of their lives — but for Aquarius signs specifically, he predicts the new year will "cement the fact that you truly are in a whole new era."

While Thomas says Aquarius already got a "brief" taste of Pluto — the planet of transformation, rebirth and intensity — entering into their zodiac sign, he notes that this is "just the beginning of a 20-year trend." He says you may now be able to feel "the fires igniting within your life, spirit and mind."

Thomas compares Aquarius to phoenixes when Pluto is in their sign, "repeatedly being reborn until you find the right version of you that sticks." While he says it will "surely bring some wild experiences and potentially some loss," he says to know that "anything that leaves your life was not meant to serve your highest good."

In fact, Thomas says you are "being groomed for power, dominance and glory more than ever before as long as you are willing to sacrifice to get there." After 2024, he notes that Pluto will remain with you so this is "the next stage of your evolution."

Thomas' upcoming year's predictions derive from patterns based on "planetary movement," plus the stars' alignment with the sun and the moon. He says we will continue experiencing eclipses on the axis of Aries-Libra, so its corresponding themes "will be thrust center stage" regardless of your sign.

Thomas predicts there will likely be a continued "focus" on your finances, resources and possessions. He says this is because Saturn, your planetary co-ruler and the planet of life lessons, will "orbit in your money zone."

"You are being told to think to the long-term," he says. Thomas notes that Saturn's presence may "constrict some of your resources or cause them to be depleted," citing the "economy, your job, your income, or some big investments you’re making" as causes.

An eclipse in late autumn could also bring "a big shift to your finances," he says, putting forth "a big increase through something like a raise or lucrative client" or "a hefty expense you’ll need to handle."

Other eclipses have the potential to energize you "quite well" this year, according to Thomas. They can highlight "expansion, personal and professional growth, travel, and your intellectual pursuits."

Thomas says these are "quite potent" in the spring and autumn, which could show Aquarius signs "bounding around to new locations" or "getting involved in communications projects." He lists "writing, speaking, blogging or podcasting endeavors" — or even "signing important contracts," as examples.

If you’d like to "go back to school or update your credentials," Thomas says "these could be great periods." If you’d like to "immigrate or spend time in distant locations," he notes you "could enjoy this a great deal."

Aquarius, get ready for "happy growth" around your personal life.

Thomas says Jupiter, the planet of growth, will be in your domestic sector until the end of May. This will "bring blessings to home, family and real estate." He says you could also find that you "move, renovate or even experience more closeness with your kindred."

Also due to the aforementioned eclipses, Thomas says you’ll likely "be socializing more" with close friends, neighbors, siblings or relatives. 

After May, Thomas says Jupiter "dances into your passion zone" which he predicts "will invigorate you with euphoria."

He says magical moments could be brought on through "true love, romance, art and creativity, hobbies and sports or children and fertility." If you aren't in a relationship, he notes this is "a wonderful period to put yourself out there as you could align with a soulmate."

Be sure to "tie everything up" before the end of the year because Mars "will retrograde in your partnership sector" at that time, potentially "bringing some hiccups in projects and relationships."
