Zooey Deschanel would love even more than 500 days of summer.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE for her collaboration with Vera Bradley, the 44-year-old actress shared her thoughts on her beloved 2009 film 500 Days of Summer, which marks its 15th anniversary on July 17 of this year.

"That movie was so much fun," said the actress, who starred as the titular Summer in the movie. "We had the best time."

"I still do this thing where I like to have dance parties in my hair and makeup trailer, and I think that was one of the first movies where I did that," she added. "Everyone was into the dance parties. It was a blast."

"We also had a great time shooting in Los Angeles, which was really nice," she continued. "We got to see a lot of beautiful things in Downtown L.A. It was cool."

Deschanel, who starred in the romantic comedy alongside friend Joseph Gordon-Levitt, now 43, also reflected on their relationship off-camera all these years later.

"We did a movie together before that called Manic, so I've been friends with him for 20 years," she explained.

In July 2019, Deschanel took to X (then Twitter) to share a black-and-white photo of herself and Gordon-Levitt in celebration of the film’s 10-year anniversary.

“It’s been 3652 days since #500DaysofSummer,” the star captioned the post.

“Let’s do it all again! Every ten years!" the New Girl star replied.

Ever since then, Deschanel has continued to pay tribute the film.

In August 2021, she and her now-fiancé Jonathan Scott recreated the film's memorable elevator scene, in which Deschanel's Summer compliments Gordon-Levitt's Tom on his taste in music as they both awkwardly ascend.

In the clip, Deschanel asks the Property Brother, 46, who's wearing headphones, "What floor?" Scott responds, "Oak, I think. Probably like a dark oak."

Deschanel then replies, "Cool floor ... I mean, as far as elevator floors are concerned, yeah, pretty durable."

"Yeah, sometimes I'm *mildly* socially awkward. #oblivious," Scott captioned the funny video.
