Zendaya is in awe of Venus Williams.

On April 17, the actress, 27, shared a snap on her Instagram Stories of the tennis legend, 43, attending the Los Angeles premiere of her tennis-focused movie Challengers.

“Wow wow wow...this is so special,” Zendaya wrote as she reposted Williams’ photo from the red carpet.

In the shot, Williams smiled at the camera while bending one leg forward as she posed in a dark gray mini dress by Vivienne Westwood.

“Serve @challengersmovie,” her caption read.

The tennis champion also reposted a video of Zendaya’s reaction to finding out that Williams was at the premiere on April 16.

“I’m never gonna be Serena,” Zendaya said in the video in reference to Williams’ sister Serena Williams. “Okay so I might as well give that dream up now.”

Entertainment journalist Zuri Hall then said, “Shoutout to Venus she’s somewhere here on the carpet too, we saw her.”

“Venus Williams, yeah,” Hall added as Zendaya opened her eyes and mouth wide in shock.

“I’m about to find her,” Zendaya said.

“Update: @zendaya found me 😂,” Williams wrote in the comments section.

Meanwhile, Zendaya — who plays the role of tennis player turned coach Tashi in Challengers — also shared a snap of herself an -

d her co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor laughing at the Los Angeles premiere, which was held at the Westwood Village Theater.

“Dream team,” her caption read as the trio displayed bright smiles on their faces.

Zendaya was dressed in a Vera Wang gown that had a black lace and satin corset bodice with a baby pink satin ballgown skirt. Her gown also featured black tulle under the skirt's center slit.

At the premiere, she told PEOPLE and other reporters that the film "is incredibly sexy," despite there "surprisingly" being "no sex scenes in the movie."

"I’ve been asked a lot about sex scenes, like, 'What was it like shooting the sex scenes?' from people who have seen the movie, and I’m like, ‘What sex scenes?’ " she said. "And they’re like, ‘Oh my God, technically not really.' "

"We keep saying tennis is the sex in the movie, and I think tennis holds a metaphor for a lot of things: desires, passion, pain, anger, frustration," Zendaya continued. "I think they all use tennis as this way of communicating with each other when they just don’t have the words."

Meanwhile, the star also shared snaps on her Instagram Stories on April 17 of her posing with her thumbs up in front of a Challengers billboard. She also struck another pose pointing to the camera while looking away with a huge smile on her face.
