The 2024 Paris Olympics are set to begin on July 26. And since the advent of social media, more and more athletes have been sharing behind-the-scenes access to life at the Summer Games.

Most notably, in 2021 during the Tokyo Olympics, several members of Team USA — including diver Tyler Downs, rugby player Ilona Maher and gymnast Suni Lee — provided entertaining content and insight into everything, from life inside the Olympic Village to rule changes the International Olympic Committee (IOC) implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19 during competition.

Other athletes like Australian diver Sam Fricker even shared the inside scoop on the viral cardboard beds, which are also making a return at Paris this summer.

At the time, the BBC reported that TikTok had "become the unofficial behind-the-scenes Olympic channel," explaining the social media platform — which was first launched in 2016 — was "offering a different viewing experience altogether."

"TikTok — the most downloaded app of 2020 — is having its moment," the outlet said.

And in 2024, the trend doesn't seem to be slowing down with athletes from Team USA already sharing a look behind the scenes now that they are in France and readying to compete on the world stage. As the Paris Games get underway, here are some other Team USA members to follow on TikTok:

After making her Olympic debut in Tokyo, Davis-Woodhall, 25, will fight for gold during her second Summer Games. The track and field athlete who placed 6th during the 2020 Games will compete in the women's long jump.

Additionally, Davis-Woodhall's husband Hunter Woodhall, a Paralympian sprinter, is also big on -

the app. Expect the 25-year-old runner to cheer on his wife at the Olympics before she becomes his cheering squad a few weeks later during the Paralympic Games.

Keifer, 30, and Meinhardt, 33, have been married since 2019 and they will both represent Team USA in fencing. Keifer, a three-time Olympian and second woman ever to win gold in the sport, will be competing in the women's foil while Meinhardt, a four-time Olympian and two-time bronze winner, will go for gold in the men's foil.

Peplowski, 21, will be making her Olympic debut at the Paris Games. She will be participating in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay during the swimming competition.

The 20-year-old from Massachusetts will compete at his first Olympics, representing Team USA during the men’s gymnastics competition. In 2023, Richard — who will vie for a medal in the individual and team events — became the youngest American male gymnast to earn an individual medal at a world championship.

At 20 years old, the slalom canoeist will be returning to the Summer Games after making her debut in Tokyo, where she finished 12th in the K1 event and 18th in the C1 event.
