Mary Lou Retton’s daughter is one step closer to walking down the aisle.

The gymnast, 56, posted a photo of her daughter, McKenna Kelley, from inside a bridal boutique on Sunday as she revealed that her second-oldest child has chosen her wedding dress.

“She said yes to the dress????,” Retton captioned the post, which saw McKenna, 26, posing inside the boutique with a sign that said “I said yes to the dress at Liv & Love Bridal.”

McKenna — who competed as a gymnast herself while at Louisiana State University — got engaged last month to her boyfriend Braden Doughty. He proposed in front of a lit-up sign that spelled out “Marry Me?” and a heart shaped by rose petals.

She follows in the footsteps of her sister, Shayla Kelly — the oldest daughter of Retton and her ex-husband Shannon Kelley — who got married in 2020 to her college sweetheart, Wyatt Schrepfer.

Retton’s exciting family news comes just three months after the Olympian spent weeks in the hospital “fighting for her life” against a “very rare form of pneumonia,” per a Spotfund fundraising page created by her family.

“She is not able to breathe on her own. She’s been in the ICU for over a week now. Out of respect for her and her privacy, I will not disclose all details. However, I will disclose that she is not insured,” McKenna wrote of her mother’s condition.

She was released from the hospital in late October and McKenna wrote on Instagram that she still had “a long road of recovery ahead of us.”

In January, Retton sat down with Hoda Kotb to describe her health scare in detail for the first time, as she shared that her kids were told to “prepare for the worst.”

"They were saying their goodbyes to me," she recalled, as she said her medical team was considering putting her on a ventilator for “life support.”

"I’m not great yet, I know it’s going to be a really long road — I don’t know how long, I may indefinitely need oxygen — but you have no idea how blessed and how grateful I was for this holiday season," she told Kotb.

Retton also made it clear that she has no plans to slow down after her recovery.

"I mean, when you face death in the eyes? I have so much to look forward to.”

She continued, "I’m a fighter and I’m not going to give up. I’m not going to give up. I have no idea what the future holds for me. I don’t know if I’m going to have lasting issues with my lungs. They don’t know. I wish I had answers. But I will never give up, it’s not in me."
