Pregnant Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Reveals ‘Unexpected' Symptoms As She Enters Her Second Trimester

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is becoming more aware of her body as she enters the second trimester of pregnancy.

The mom-to-be, 33, who is expecting her first baby with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, posted a video on her YouTube channel on Wednesday, Sept. 19, updating her followers on how she's feeling being 22 weeks pregnant.

"I have started to feel her kick a lot. I have started to feel those movements, and I've started to notice kind of her sleeping pattern. So I have noticed that she kicks a lot at night, anywhere from 9:00 at night to 11:00 at night, and she's calmer during the daytime," she said.

The Gypsy Rose:LifeAfterLockUp star shared that her baby is "more active whenever I eat sweets," but feeling her kick is something that has been "magical" and the "exciting part of pregnancy."

Blanchard said that one of the new "quite unexpected" symptoms she's experienced since "about two weeks ago" is numbness in her thighs whenever she's "standing for a long period of time" or "sleeping on one side for too long."

"My tighs start to get a little tingly and numb and even burning sensation sometimes," she said, noting that she's begun to "take breaks throughout the day" or "sit down for a little bit" if she's out to help with the pain.

The expectant mother then went on to list some of her cravings, which include sweets and applesauce.

"My baby is going to love applesauce because I did not eat applesauce like I'm eating it now. Like before I got  -

pregnant, I never even touched applesauce. Now I keep two packs in the fridge at all times and I like it a certain way, too," she said.

Being "kind of picky" about how she likes her applesauce, Blanchard said she freezes it for about 30 to 40 minutes so it can be "ice cold."

"If it's any other kind of way, if it's room temperature or if it's just kind of like eh kind of cold, I won't touch it, so I'm kind of picky about that," she said. "Icing has been a big one since I hit my second trimester."

"There are times that I do crave like apples and oranges and fruit and there are other times that I crave sweets, so it kind of has both," Blanchard further added. 

Blanchard revealed she's expecting her first child in a YouTube video on Tuesday, July 9, and revealed the sex a month later.

"Symptoms are manageable. Overall, I think that I have a very good pregnancy," Blanchard added in her latest video. "I like to say that I'm blessed that things are going so well. So it was a relief to know that she's developing normally. It's a relief to know that I'm healthy as the mother, and overall like it's just it's going really good."
