Shot put champion Ryan Crouser popped the question to longtime girlfriend, Megan Clark!

The three-time Olympic gold medalist, 31, announced his engagement to the former elite pole vaulter, 30, in a sweet joint Instagram post on Oct. 17: "She Said Yes!!! ????."

The bride-and-groom-to-be shared three photos of their engagement shoot with Clark in a polka dot dress while Crouser, who got down on one knee, wore blue jeans and a navy blue blazer over a collared button-up.

"Thank you Trentino, Lake Garda will always have a special place in our hearts," Crouser continued in the caption.

Clark, who graduates next year from the University of Arkansas for Medical Studies, didn't have to think twice about saying "yes" to Crouser. "Easiest question I’ve ever been asked ❤️🥂," the Running Industry Diversity Coalition ambassador commented.

Congratulations from friends and family of the couple, who have been romantically linked since 2018, filled the comment section of their announcement. "An engagement that will PUT a smile on your face," NBC Olympics wrote in its own post sharing the happy news. "Congratulations to Ryan Crouser and his fiance Megan Clark! ????."

Back in August, Crouser received applause for winning his historic third-straight Olympic gold medal in shot put in front of a packed audience at Stade de France in Paris. Of course, supporting him in the crowd was Clark.

"My goal usually when I go to compete at any time is just try to throw a personal best," Crouser told PEOPLE three years ago.
