Nancy Meyers and Jude Law are celebrating a fun reunion after nearly 20 years.
Meyers, 75, who wrote and directed thebeloved 2006 romantic comedy The Holiday reunited with the actor, 51, following his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 12. The film stars Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz as two women who exchange homes on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Law plays Winslet's widowed brother who falls in love with Diaz's character, while Jack Black plays a film composer who falls for Winselt.
"Congrats Jude! ⭐️ I was thrilled to be at a lunch for Jude today and I had one question for him….," Meyers wrote next to an Instagram video showing Law.
In it, the camera pans to Law as Meyers is heard saying, "Look who I'm having lunch with today. Jude Law! Congratulations on your so well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That's amazing."
After both tell one another they are happy to reunite, Meyers says: "I don't think I've seen you since we wrapped The Holiday. Speaking of which, I've seen you've interviewed a lot, and they keep asking you if there's going to be a sequel. What do you think?"
The actor then opted to make a reference to his Mr. Napk -
in Head character from the film by placing a napkin and glasses over his head as people could be heard laughing in the background.
Fans rushed to comment on the possibility of a sequel.

"This is not the time of year to be messing around with our hearts, Nancy! 😩🥰," one fan wrote in the comment section. "For the love of god, please give us a sequel 😩😩😩😩 we are dying without a new Nancy Meyers movie!!!" wrote another.
While no new film has been announced, Law toldE! Newsin June thathe "love(s) the idea" of a potential follow-upand added, "Why not?"

"I think Graham still has cardigans and glasses, and reads. He's probably worried sick about the girls, right? His daughters will be 28, 29," he said.
Law now stars in the new Disney+ Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew. New episodes are released on Tuesdays.
