Michael J. Fox is celebrating his love for wife Tracy Pollan.

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, July 16, the Back to the Future star, 63, commemorated his 36th anniversary to Pollan. Alongside a photo of the two of them sitting by a pool when they were younger, he wrote a sweet message to his longtime partner.

“Here’s to a lifetime of love with the love of a lifetime,” the caption read. “Happy anniversary, T. Forever ♥️”

She also took to social media to honor the special day, posting one image from when the former Family Ties cast members were first married and another of them now.

“Same spot, different year! Happy anniversary my love, we haven’t changed a bit 😘” she wrote. “I love you!”

The couple have had a lot to celebrate as of late. In June, Pollan turned 64, and that same day, their daughter Schuyler got married. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the wedding took place at the luxurious Hayfield Catskills in New York.

ned under a tent, and it really looked like a picture perfect garden party. They seemed like such an adorable, gentle family."

Amid the excitement, Fox also made sure to wish his wife a happy birthday in a loving tribute post.

“In every beautiful way, it’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day,” he wrote. “I love you and today will be magnificent. Always forever your Mike with so-much love. Happy birthday. It’s gonna be an epic day.❤️”

The first photo was a black-and-white snap of the actress posing, while the second showed the pair sitting together outside with their arms around each other.

The couple first met in 1985 while filming Family Ties and later tied the knot in 1988. They share son Sam Michael, 34, twin daughters Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances, 28, and 21-year-old daughter Esmé Annabelle.

At the Michael J. Fox Foundation's A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's event in early April, Fox shared the secret to his long-lasting marriage with PEOPLE.

"It's great having a partner and having someone that knows you in a certain way when everyone in the world thinks they know you. Only one person actually knows you,” he shared.
