Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have a date for their divorce trial following months of ups and downs.

According to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE, the estranged couple will head to Atlanta's Fulton County Superior Court on Nov. 5 and 6, 2024.

Zolciak, 46, and Biermann, 38, have until Sept. 25 to come to an agreement through mediation, before they will have to take their divorce to trial in November.

TMZ was first to report the news.

Zolciak and Biermann have had a tumultuous period since PEOPLE initially reported that they had called it quits after nearly 12 years of marriage in May 2023.

Court docs obtained by TMZ at the time stated Zolciak had described her marriage as "irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation."

The first divorce filing was dropped in July 2023, but Biermann filed a second time just a month later in August.

Documents obtained by PEOPLE in Sept. 2023 stated Zolciak had filed to dismiss her husband’s second divorce filing, citing their recent sexual encounters at the time as proof that his original claims — that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” — were false.

However, a court order on Dec. 11 indicated that the divorce was moving forward.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shermela J. Williams ordered the coupleto complete mediation to come to a settlementin their divorce by Jan. 31, 2024, documents obtained byTMZandUs Weekly stated at the time.

“As there are numerous unresolved issues, based upon review of the record and applicable authority, the Court finds that the Parties’ interests and the orderly management of the Court’s docket would be served by referring the above-styled case to mediation,” the docs reportedly claimed. “Both Parties must attend the mediation session.”

Among multiple issues amid the divorce, it was reported in May 2024 that Zolciak had called the cops on her estranged husband back in April for allegedly stealing her phone and locking himself in her room, a911 call and police body cam footage obtained by TMZ showed.

The reality star called 911 on April 26 to report that Biermann had allegedly violated a December 2023 court order that required eachto stay in separate sides of the house.
