Kate Hudson is ready for spring!

The actress, 44, radiated beauty as she performed her new single "Talk About Love" at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles in a white ruffle dress.

The flowy white layered look was paired with soft makeup and the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star wore her hair down in loose waves.

“The LGBTQ community has supported and stood by me for as long as I’ve been a performer. It is a privilege to share another facet of my artistry with my nearest and dearest fans, and to expand on my lifelong journey of being an ally,” Hudson said in a statement when GLAAD announced her performance on March 7. “Music brings people together and I can’t wait to spread the love and joy with queer people and GLAAD this year.”

“I wanted it to be open and seeking, searching to find something powerful. But I also wanted the music to be the rock, the pop, the dance music and even a bit of the alternative records I love," said Hudson about the track after its release in January.

Her latest onstage look may be one that Hudson saves for her 5-year-old daughterRani Rose.

"I save them all," Hudson told PEOPLE about her red carpet and event attire. "I have a very extensive arch -

ive at this point. Not all of them I've gotten to keep over the years, but the ones that I can, and the ones that are custom and all that, I hold onto them."

Hudson said every outfit is "really a piece of my personal history" and "art."

She's also already caught her daughter "peering into certain things" in her closet.

"Rani is already going through my shoes, and I catch her kind of opening my closet doors and looking in, peering into certain things, and I'm like, 'Oh, it just already belongs to Rani.' So one day I'm sure I'll start to see things go missing," she told PEOPLE.

When it comes to her style, the actress revealed that she doesn't have any fashion regrets. She said, "You know why? Because I love fashion, and anything that I've ever worn is always coming from a creative place for me."

"I think there are things that other people might have thought weren't their favorite, but for me, I've always worn, and choose to wear, what makes me feel good and how I love to express myself," she continued.
