Kailyn Lowry is excited for a special moment for her second oldest.

Speaking with PEOPLE about her podcast tour, the mom of seven opened up about an upcoming family trip and why it will be extra special for 10-year-old son Lincoln, whom she shares with exJavi Marroquin.

"Lincoln's playing soccer in Spain in November," Lowry, 32, shares. "It's a big deal."

She adds, "I'm just really excited. We're going as a family, Javi's entire family is going, so both of our families are going to be there for Lincoln. So that's really important and just a great opportunity."

Throughout the years, Lowry has documented as Lincoln has pursued many different sports, including football, basketball and, of course, soccer. The proud mom says, "Lincoln's always been a sports kid. He's always been heavily invested into sports."

It echoes the sentiments that Lowry shared in Lincoln's birthday post in November, calling her son "the hardest worker," and raving that "he makes me so proud."

In addition to Lincoln, Lowry us mom to infant twinsVerse and Valley and toddler sonRio with fiancé Elijah Scott. She is also mom to Creed, 4, andLux, 7, with exChris Lopez, as well as Isaac, 14, with ex Jo Rivera.

Marroquin — who is also dad to son Eli, 5, and daughter Maizee Joelle, 3 months — first announced the exciting opportunity on Instagram in late August, revealing both Eli and Lincoln will play in Spain.

"Announcement!! These 2 studs were selected from their Real Madrid camp to go play in Madrid! I am so proud!" he wrote, in part.

Of Lincoln, he added, "The big dawg has only reallly been playing for a little over a year so I was nervous the speed of the game at his age would make him nervous… so proud of both of them and we’ll be going to Madrid to watch them play some local home talent ⚽️."
