Years later, Jimmy Fallon is still loving a gift he received from Gigi Hadid.

At the Monday, July 22 premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine, the 49-year-old late night host caught up with Hadid, 29, about a sweater from her clothing line, Guest in Residence.

"She gave me a sweater from her sweater line years ago and I've worn it almost every day of my life," Fallon told PEOPLE at the New York City event. "To all my writers meetings in the morning. It's a yellow sweater. It's actually — it's Wolverine color."

When asked to choose between Marvel characters Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) or Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Fallon admitted he "might be leaning towards" Jackman's X-Men character but only because of the sweater.

"This is Gigi's fault," the SNL alum joked. "I have her sweater and I haven't done anything. I just wear it every morning to this meeting. And I said she should come on the show. I'm gonna show it to her. This is the best sweater. So cozy. I love it."

On the red carpet, Hadid was decked out in Wolverine yellow. Her custom Miu Miu SS24 RTW look consisted of a logo tube top with a matching low-rise yellow skirt. She paired it with a yellow purse fr -

Hadid appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2022 to celebrate the launch of her knitwear brand, Guest in Residence. During the interview, the model shared that the brand is centered around sustainability that that she wants to "encourage thinking about what you're consuming."

She also gifted Fallon a basket full of Guest in Residence items, including the yellow cashmere sweater. After the duo took turns throwing pairs of socks to the audience, the host tried on a tan-and-pink beanie and held up the mustard-colored sweater. The shade isn't currently shown on Guest in Residence's website, but the men's Oversized Crew is available in a variety of other colors.
