Jane Wiseman, who was previously VP of original series at Netflix, has joined Sister Entertainment Group as the head of U.S. television, according to Cindy Holland, global CEO of Sister Entertainment Group. “Jane is a multi-faceted executive with great passion and curiosity, combined with smart business and creative instincts. She’s a powerful advocate for artists and a generous collaborator, which makes her a great fit for our team at Sister,” said Holland. “I’m really looking forward to welcoming Jane to our team and working with her again.”

Wiseman and Holland previously worked together at Netflix, where Wiseman helped develop such notable series as “Dead to Me,” “Russian Doll,” “Grace and Frankie,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Master of None.” She was an early member of the -

company’s content team, having joined from Chernin Co. where she served as head of comedy development and production. Earlier in her career she held similar roles at NBCUniversal and at Fox broadcast network.

“Sister’s slate is ambitious, audacious and artist-forward, exactly the kind of work I want to support in this next chapter,” said Wiseman. “On a personal level, I couldn’t be happier to reunite with Cindy and to work closely with her, Jane Featherstone and the whole Sister team.”

Sister was formed in 2019 by Elisabeth Murdoch, who is executive chair, and veteran British producer Jane Featherstone. Holland, who previously headed content for Netflix, joined the company in 2023.
