‘Hour 5 at the Airport': Chrissy Teigen Sleeps at Dubai Airport amid Flight Delay

Chrissy Teigen’s latest trip isn’t going to plan!

On Sunday, April 7, the 38-year-old posted a video on her Instagram Stories of herself sleeping at a Dubai airport after a five-hour flight delay.

In the clip, Teigen was seen getting some shut-eye as she lay across seats in the airport's waiting area while wrapped up in a blanket.

“Hour 5 at the airport,” she explained in the caption. Teigen had been traveling with her family at the time following a trip to Thailand.

Earlier on in their flight delay, Teigen posted another clip of her husband John Legend and their daughter Esti Maxine, 14 months, leaning over a table in a lounge area as he attempted to charge the little one’s tablet. Their son Wren Alexander, 9 months, sat on a couch in the background.

Teigen captioned the video “Dubai,” adding the timestamp “4:10 a.m.,” indicating the early hours of their time at the airport.

“Esti!” the mom of four was heard saying behind the camera in the clip, before letting out a little groan.

Legend, 45, then raised his head and said, “It’s not charging,” referring to Esti’s tablet.

Teiegn’s latest travel update comes after she shared footage over the weekend of her family vacation to Thailand — where her family on her mother’s side is from — for spring break.  

On Saturday, April 6, the author and model posted highlights of their trip on her Instagram Stories. In one video, Teigen posed for a selfie as she wore a beaded pink and purple dress with lots of gold jewelry and a golden headpiece embellished with colorful jewels.

Teigen also shared an image of Wren in a traditional boys’ formal outfit consisting of a white shirt and shiny purple pants with a pink sash around his waist, along with a photo of Luna dressed up in a sparkly pale pink top and beaded sash with a long blue silk skirt. 

Teigen's traveled to Thailand with Legend and their kids to visit her mom Vilailuck "Pepper" Teigen, who moved back to her childhood hometown of Korat in January.
