Hilary Swank turned up the heat at the Ordinary Angels premiere on Monday.

The two-time Oscar winner, 49, graced the red carpet in a draped corseted dress from the Vivienne Westwood Made-to-Order collection. The sweetheart off-the-shoulder gown was made of crimson red crepe satin and worn with soft makeup.

Her elegant, side-swept hair brought attention to her glistening Kwiat 3.5 ct round brilliant-cut diamond stud earrings in platinum. Swank accessorized the look with a Fred Leighton Antique Ruby and Diamond Navette Cluster ring.

In May 2023, PEOPLE exclusively premiered the first trailer for the film, which finds Swank playing a "fierce but struggling hairdresser" named Sharon, who discovers a "renewed sense of purpose" when she meets a widower named Ed (Alan Ritchson).

"With his youngest daughter waiting for a liver transplant, Sharon sets her mind to helping the family and will move mountains to do it. What unfolds is the inspiring tale of faith, everyday miracles, and ordinary angels," the film's synopsis explains.

The Jon Gunn-directed project also stars Tamala Jones,Amy Acker, Drew Powell, Skywalker Hughes and Emily Mitchell.

During an appearance on the Todayshow earlier this month, Swank explained that the film became even more important to her following the death of her dad,Stephen Michael Swank in October 2021. < -

"My father was a recipient of a lung transplant so organ donation is a big, big thing to me and talking about it. This movie came about three months after my dad passed, so I got this opportunity, I feel like it was sent by my dad, and to tell a movie about an extraordinary human being and family…. I think it would have been my dad's favorite movie of mine," the actress said.

Swank took a break from acting from 2014 to 2017 to help her dad undergo and recover from a lung transplant.

While announcing his death in a December 2021 Instagram post, Swank reflected on what she learned from being his sole caretaker.

"In this physical loss, as devastating as it is, I was awakened to the truest sense of living again. It helped me better understand the circle of life and where we come from and where we go back to, which has connected me back to my truest self. It helped me forgive, to move past the things that hold me back, in whatever form that takes each day. As well as being deeply connected to the Ultimate Source and therefore, my Dad, always," her caption read.

Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, also welcomed their twins, daughter Aya and son Ohm, in April 2023. On Valentine's Day, Swank finally shared her 10-month-old children's names with a picture of them on a beach.
