Hilaria Baldwin Excited About Reality Show With Husband Alec and Sharing ‘Chaotic’ and ‘Beautiful’ Family Life, Sources Say

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are looking forward to sharing a peek into their lives.

Following the Tuesday, June 4 announcement that the couple will be starring in their own reality show alongside their seven children, a source exclusively tells PEOPLE how “excited” Hilaria, 40, is for the series.

“She can't wait to share more about her family life,” the insider tells PEOPLE. “She knows she lives a privileged life, but she still has to juggle and prioritize like many moms.” 

“Family life with all the kids is chaotic. But Hilaria is great at managing everything,” says the source, adding how Hilaria has worked at advocating "for moms getting their ‘me time' too,” and "prioritizing" both "solo time with Alec," as well as "her own health and wellness."

The pair share seven children: Ilaria Catalina Irena, 19 months, María Lucía Victoria, 3, Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 3, Romeo Alejandro David, 5, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 7, Rafael Thomas, 8, and Carmen Gabriela, 10. Alec also shares Ireland, 28, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

“She'll share her every day tips how to balance life,” the source explains, noting how Hilaria is also “a huge believer that a strong marriage makes everyone happier.”

t as comfortable in the spotlight and needed a bit of convincing to do the show.”

“The best part about them is that they don't fudge the bad - they are very honest about how messy life is, but they see it as a beautiful mess,” notes the insider. 

The couple announced earlier this week that their family of nine is headed to TLC for their new series The Baldwins.

PEOPLE first learned of a Baldwin reality show in the works in November when a source shared that Alec and Hilaria were "pitching a family reality show that would give an inside look at their life."

"They're excited but would only do it if it was an authentic portrayal of who they are as a family," the insider told PEOPLE at the time. "The kids all have such fun personalities and Hilaria and Alec know how much interest there is in their lives."

The source also shared that both parents were keen to give viewers "a behind-the-scenes look at raising a big family."

A representative for Hilaria Baldwin did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment on Thursday.
