Henry Cavill is going to be a dad!

The Man of Steel star, 40, is expecting his first baby with girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, he confirmed.

The Justice League star spoke to Access Hollywood at the New York City premiere of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare where he shared the exciting news.

"I'm very excited about it. Natalie and I are both very excited about it. I'm sure you'll see much more of that,” Cavill told the outlet’s reporter when she asked him about taking on fatherhood.

Before the interview wrapped, the reporter added that the movie star will make “a great dad.”

“Thank you,” he replied with a smile.

The couple was spotted out and about in New York City on Sunday, April 14. Viscuso wore a fitted black dress and coordinating boots while holding hands with her beau, who wore a blue jacket over a tan-colored tee and blue trousers, as well as black shoes.

on, while Viscuso opted for a floor-length white gown and matching shoes. She also wore an equally long white-and-gold coat with horizontal stripes over the dress.

Cavill and Viscuso wentInstagram official in April 2021when they each shared aphoto of themselves playing chess togetherto their respective profiles.

"This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess," Cavill wrote in a caption to his post at the time. Viscuso teased her boyfriend in her own caption, saying that she was "teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess...or...maybe he let me win?"

The two then made their red-carpet debutin New York City in October 2022 for the premiere of Cavill'sNetflixmovieEnola Holmes 2.

Viscuso is atelevision executiveat Vertigo Entertainment. She and Cavill revealed they arecollaborating togetheron an adaptation ofWarhammer40,000in December 2022.
