Hailee Steinfeld Soaks Up the Sun with Shirtless Boyfriend Josh Allen During Mexico Vacation

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen are soaking up the sun in Mexico!

The Hawkeye actress, 27, and Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, were spotted catching some rays and enjoying a beach outing with friends in Mexico on Tuesday, June 25. Allen sported multicolor swim trucks with a geometric print, while his girlfriend donned a colorful bikini top and sweatpants. 

In addition to taking in the relaxing scenery, the couple were photographed chatting with their friends while surrounded by lush palm trees. 

Steinfeld and Allen’s vacation comes more than one year after the couple were first spotted together in May 2023. The pair sparked dating rumors after they were seen hanging out in New York City together and Allen put his arm on his now-girlfriend’s back.

The footballer had just split with his longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams, while Steinfeld was famously in a relationship with One Direction alum Niall Horan until they split in 2018.

In February, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that Steinfeld and Allen have a "serious relationship” and share the same values.

"They always planned to spend more time together after his season ended. Things have been going really well," the source said at the time. -

"They’re both very family-oriented and driven, and they want to protect their relationship and keep it private. They’ve been on the same page with all of that." 

Allen previously opened up about the importance of privacy in his relationship during an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast in August 2023.

When asked about the recent attention that he and Steinfeld had been getting, Allen responded: "The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind.” 

Of photographs taken of him and his girlfriend in public, he added, “I just felt this gross feeling - insecurity, no privacy.”

The pair also share similar values when it comes to spending quality time with family. 

In October 2023, Steinfeld went shopping with her boyfriend’s mom, Lavonne. The two visited the Leveled Up Buffalo shop in East Aurora, New York, and purchased some items in support of the NFL star.

Steinfeld also made a cameo in a TikTok shared by Allen’s sister, Nicala Madden, in which she is seen celebrating with the family during Nicala's sex reveal party for her new baby.

At the end of the post, Allen and Steinfeld predict whether it’s going to be a boy or a girl. 

“I’m the brother of the mother, and I think it's going to be a boy,” Allen guessed, followed by Steinfeld chiming in: “I’m kinda feeling like it’s going to be a boy too."
