Flula Borg-Hosted Video Game Show Ordered by Fubo, Ryan Reynolds’ Maximum Effort Channel (EXCLUSIVE)

Ryan Reynolds‘ Maximum Effort and Fubo have ordered new original series “Neon Dimension,” a video game show hosted by actor and comedian Flula Borg, for their Maximum Effort Channel. More specifically, it’s hosted by Borg’s disembodied head.

Per the show’s description, “Broadcasting from inside an arcade cabinet, in ‘Neon Dimension,’ Flula Borg’s floating head hosts the ultimate video game show pitting actors, musicians, podcasters, and even more podcasters against each other in a battle royale of video games from every era.”

Created by Ryan McNeely and Josh Martin, known professionally as “The Director Brothers,” and Borg, the five-episode series will launch on Maximum Effort Channel on Fubo and Flula’s YouTube channel on July 20 at 11 a.m. ET. New episodes will drop weekly on Saturday mornings and reruns will air on Maximum Effort Channel on Monday nights.

The show is executive produced by George Dewey, Kevin Hill,and Patrick Gooing on behalf of Maximum Effort, David Gandler and Pamela Duckworth on behalf of Fubo Studios, and Flula Borg, Sean Boyle, Josh Martin, Ryan McNeely and Nick Plotquin. Nick Plotquin is a producer.

“’Neon Dimension’ is a wonderful game show hosted by my disembodied head!” Borg said. “I am not certain how, or where, or even when the ‘Neon Dimension’ is, but I can tell you that it is a sassy time filled with fun people playing classic video games while my helmeted head guides them!
