When rescuers arrived, said Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety, they found the two individuals who had signs of heat exhaustion. They were administered first aid and immediately taken to the hospital.

“While on the scene, a passerby contacted police and reported that a third individual was unconscious a short distance away,” continued Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety’s statement. “The individual was identified as a 30-year-old female. First responders located the individual, and it was determined that the individual was deceased.”
