Crystal Hefner is speaking candidly about the unrealistic expectations Hugh Hefner had for her during their relationship.

In a clip from an upcoming episode of The Tamron Hall Show, obtained by E! News, Crystal, 37, explained that she survived the "cutthroat" environment of the Playboy Mansion by transforming herself into who her late husband wanted her to be, both physically and in personality.

When asked by host Tamron Hall who Hugh's ideal woman was, Crystal said, "I think he wanted me to just be seen and not speak, be helpless, be small ... have bleach-blonde hair and stay skinny and have big, fake boobs."

"That's part of it," she added.

Crystal went on to give examples of the Playboy founder and editor-in-chief's behavior. (She was married to him from 2012 until he died in 2017 at the age of 91.)

The model said that when her naturally brown roots would grow out, he would tap her on the head and remind her to refresh her hair color.

Crystal also recalled that when she gained weight after moving i -

nto his mansion, Hugh would tap her thighs and make comments like, "Oh, looks like someone needs to tone up."

Hugh's words, Crystal said, would make her feel like, "I'm falling."

"So, I quickly learned, okay, things aren't really what they seem here," she added.

The real estate agent also told Hall, 53, in the clip that she changed her personality to mirror her husband's.

"I made myself small and just mirrored Hef, and just ended up liking what he liked," she explained.

Last month, in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE promoting her book about life with Hugh, titled Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, Crystal admitted that she loved her husband, but was never "in love" with him.

"I realized I was dealing with a really big power imbalance,” she said. “It seemed like a world of success and fantasy, but everyone's having to sleep with an 80-year-old. There's a price. Everything has a price."
