Christina Hall has filed an official response to her husband Josh Hall's request for a divorce —and made additional allegations against him.

The Christina on the Coast star's legal action comes after Josh, 43, filed for a dissolution of marriage due to "irreconcilable differences" on July 15. In addition to her response, Christina filed an ex parte that alleges that Josh made questionable financial moves in the days surrounding their split related to her properties in Tennessee.

Christina owns two properties in the state: the farmhouse that is featured in her show Christina in the Country and a condo in downtown Nashville, according to the documents obtained by PEOPLE. Both of those properties are rented when not in use by the HGTV star, and a property manager handles the ins and outs of the rentals, she claims.

The day after she told him she planned to file for divorce, June 7, Christina alleges Josh contacted the manager to have them change the bank account that received the rent payments for those properties to his personal account.

On July 8, “the day after I communicated to Josh that I would be filing for dissolution, Josh contacted my professional property manager via text and stated 'Hi. For June payments, can we please get it sent to a different account when it’s time? Thank you," she claims in the documents.

The account number provided was for “his own Wells Fargo bank account,” she claims. A screenshot of the text conversation allegedly between Josh and the property manager is included in the filing.

"For the month of June, Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate rental income to his account," Christina's filing alleges.

A source close to Josh claims to PEOPLE that, "Josh requested the property manager's payment because he handled all of the bills for their rental properties."

The source also claims he is a co-owner of the two properties, however deeds obtained by PEOPLE indicate Christina and her personal trust are the buyers of both. Christina's filing claims both "are entirely my sole and separate property."

The farmhouse was purchased before their marriage, in February 2021, while the condo was purchased two months after they tied the knot, in December 2021.

The source additionally alleges, "Josh has continued to manage their rental properties since separation as that was one of his responsibilities throughout their marriage."

“Christina has always employed a professional property manager for her separate Tennessee properties," Christina's publicist Cassie Zebisch-Schienle said in a statement to PEOPLE. "Those management duties and the expenses related thereto are invoiced monthly and paid f -

rom the rental income prior to it being distributed to Christina. All mortgage and expenses in regard to the properties Christina owns have always been handled by her through accounts via autopay. They have never been paid from Josh’s personal Wells Fargo Checking Account that he had prior to the marriage."

"Rental income from Christina’s properties should have never been misdirected into Josh’s personal checking account. Those funds should be returned and accounted for by Josh as the July payments were made from other funds and if his position were true, those funds are required to pay the August payment.”

While Josh’s divorce petition from last week shows that he is requesting spousal support from Christina, the HGTV star is seeking to prohibit spousal support from being awarded to either of them.

While Christina has not publicly addressed the split, changes to her social media over the last week acknowledge it. She had previously shared a photo of her and Josh’s wedding celebration in Hawaii on her Instagram. That image has now been taken down, along with others documenting the early days of their relationship.

The couple celebrated their nuptials with an oceanfront ceremony in Maui nearly a year after they'd secretly tied the knot in a private courthouse ceremony.

They officially wed on Oct. 6, 2021, Josh's filing revealed — six months before they shared the news publicly in April 2022.

This was Christina's third marriage. She was previously married to her former Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa for seven years and Celebrity IOU: Joyride host Ant Anstead for two. She shares two children — Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8 —with El Moussa, and a four-year-old son, Hudson, with Anstead.

Christina and Josh were set to star in a new HGTV series, The Flip Off, together alongside Tarek and his new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather El Moussa.

The house flipping competition show was announced by the network on May 15, just two months before the divorce news broke, and is set to premiere in 2025.

On Tuesday, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Christina had resumed filming with Tarek and Heather and that Josh was no longer involved.

HGTV has not made a public statement confirming the status of Josh's participation.

PEOPLE first confirmed that Christina and Josh were in a relationship in July 2021 after a source revealed she was dating a new man who works in real estate.

"They recently started dating each other and it was an immediate, real connection," the source told PEOPLE at the time. "They've enjoyed getting to know each other one-on-one without outside noise."
