Chris Pratt Says Millie Bobby Brown's Husband Jake Bongiovi Was on The Electric State Set 'Every Day'

Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown had a frequent visitor on the set of their new movie: Brown's husband, Jake Bongiovi.

The conversation came about during a joint panel at New York Comic Con on Thursday, Oct. 17, where the Electric State costars discussed what they love about one another. For Pratt, 45, it includes Brown's "huge heart."

"She has such a huge heart, such a love for animals, such a love for her now-husband, Jake, who was on set every day," he said of Brown, 20, and Bongiovi, 22. "They are these totally awesome and normal people who live extraordinary lives."

"And I can see the person in that, because I feel kind of the same way, in a way. And so we had a great time. We became fast friends, and you can't get rid of me. Sorry," he told Brown.

"I'm very glad to have you as my friend," she told Pratt.

Nearly three years after they first sparked romance rumors in June 2021, Brown and Bongiovi secretly tied the knot this past May. Several months later, the Stranger Thingsstar and the model, who is the son ofJon Bon Jovi, hosted alavish Italian wedding.

Brown confirmed in June that she and her beau had officially tied the knot with an Instagram photo showing her in a pair of denim shorts with “wifey”stamped on the backside. She also wore a trucker hat that read “Wife of the Party.”

husband walking beside some goats on a farm, along with a heartfelt caption about their deep bond.

"Your sic my home in every lifetime,” read the Enola Holmes actress's caption, presented alongside a red heart emoji.

Brown's newest project, The Electric State, is "set in an alternate, retro-futuristic version of the 1990s" and directed by Pratt'sAvengers: Infinity WarandEndgamefilmmakersJoe and Anthony Russo, who also participated in Thursday's NYCC panel.

The actress stars as Michelle, "an orphaned teenager navigating life in a society where sentient robots resembling cartoons and mascots, who once served peacefully among humans, now live in exile following a failed uprising," as a synopsis teases.

Michelle's worldview is turned upside down when a mysterious robot named Cosmo, who appears to be connected to her presumed-dead brother, visits her. Michelle then realizes she may be able to reunite with her lost brother and sets out on a journey with Christopher, and they meet Pratt's character Keats and his robot Herman (voiced by Anthony Mackie) along the way.

Written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and based on a graphic novel by Simon Stålenhag, the movie also stars Ke Huy Quan,Jason Alexander,Giancarlo Esposito,Stanley Tucci, and Woody Norman, whileWoody Harrelson,Brian Cox,Jenny Slate andAlan Tudyklend their voices.

The Electric State premieres on Netflix March 14, 2025.
