Chernin Entertainment, which is part of The North Road Company, has promoted both Tracey Cook and Kaitlin Dahill to lead the company’s television division.

The announcement was made by Chernin Entertainment president Jenno Topping, to whom Cook and Dahill will continue to report.

“Tracey and Kaitlin are among the industry’s most talented executives,” Topping said. “Their contributions over the past decade have been integral to Chernin Entertainment’s success, which in turn powered the growth of the broader North Road portfolio, and they have positioned us for continued success by spearheading our exceptional upcoming slate. Their elevation to head the television division is one of many ways we are addressing the opportunities in this shifting marketplace, as we become more nimble and creative in identifying new talent and content.”

Cook first joined Chernin eleven years ago and has since produced shows like Apple TV+’s “See” and “Truth Be Told” as well as Netflix’s “Bombay Begums.” She began in the company’s film division, where she worked on projects including Paul Feig’s “Spy” and Tim Burton’s “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.” Earlier in her career, she worked in the talent department of WME.

Dahill is currently developing a series written by New York Times bestselling author Amy Chozick with Emmy nominee Meghann Fahy attached to star at Netflix, as well as a “Sweet Valley High” series alongside Fake Empire. Prior to joining Chernin Entertainment, Dahill was an executive at Marvel Television. She began her career in production, working on four seasons of Jason Katim’s Emmy-nominated NBC series “Parenthood.”
