Cara Delevingne received some music education from her girlfriend.

In an interview with The Sunday Times published on July 7, the model, 31, revealed that her girlfriend of over two years, Leah Mason, was shocked when they met Bruce Springsteen at Glastonbury Music Festival in 2022 and Delevingne had no idea who he was.

"We teach each other so many things. Two years ago we were backstage at Glastonbury and we took a photo with this guy," Delevingne told the outlet. "I said to Leah afterwards, who was that?"

That "guy" turned out to be the “Born to Run” singer, who made an appearance during Paul McCartney’s headline set at the festival that year.

"She was like, 'What? That was Bruce Springsteen!' I had no idea what he looked like. She thinks that’s blasphemy," the American Horror Story: Delicate actress said of her partner’s reaction.

In the interview, Delevingne shared that the two enjoy watching live music together, despite having different tastes in music. "Leah likes old rock, Fleetwood Mac, whereas I like R&B and old-school hip-hop, like the Notorious BIG," the model said. "And I love the wave of lesbians in music now, like Chappell Roan and Reneé Rapp."

She went on to list the concerts they a -

re going to in the future, naming Girls Aloud, Taylor Swift, Troye Sivan, Robbie Williams and Stevie Nicks.

Delevingne revealed in a 2023 interview with Vogue that she and Mason – also known by her music pseudonym Minke – first met as kids while attending a boarding school in Hampshire, England. They reconnected over a decade later at an Alanis Morissette concert.

While chatting with The Sunday Times, she also discussed her past struggles with substance abuse, telling the reporter that when they met at a wedding in 2001, she "got drunk that day."

"I was eight, what a crazy age to get drunk," Delevingne admitted.

She went on to discuss her feelings about going out, saying, "I used to think drugs and alcohol helped me cope … but they didn’t, they kept me sad and super depressed. I feel like I’ve got my power back and I’m not being controlled by other things."

Recently, Delevingne completed her run as Sally Bowles in the West End production of Cabaret in London – where she was visited by longtime bestie Swift. She also launched a new non-alcoholic sparkling rosé for her prosecco brand which she co-founded with her sisters Poppy and Chloe.
