Earlier in the evening, on the Lincoln Center red carpet, Lively and Hadid were their own versions of Deadpool and Wolverine as they dressed in red and yellow looks that paid homage to Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's characters.

For the occasion, Lively wore a custom Versace off-the-shoulder gloved maroon catsuit in red with black lace detailing, evoking the look of Deadpool, perfectly suited for a night of fashionable crime-fighting. She added some bling with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Ofira jewel -

Deadpool & Wolverine is the third film in the Deadpool franchise.

Directed by Shawn Levy, the movie is bringing the foul-mouthed assassin and his claw-wielding frenemy into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time thanks to Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, who had previously owned rights to the characters.

Though the plot is being kept under wraps, the movie will feature cameos of characters from past Fox X-Men films — including Azazel (played by Jason Flemyng; last seen in X-Men: First Class), Lady Deathstrike (Kelly Hu; X2: X-Men United), Sabertooth (Tyler Mane; X-Men), Toad (Ray Park; X-Men), and Pyro (Aaron Stanford; X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand).

There's also rumors that Lively might appear as Lady Deadpool in the film, though fans will have to wait and see the film to know if that's true.

Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on Friday, July 26.
