A 14-track version of what’s purported to be Big Sean‘s upcoming album leaked to the internet today, allegedly in retaliation by a Kanye West fan for a line in a freestyle that they interpreted as a diss towards the rapper.

It all began yesterday when Big Sean’s “On the Radar” freestyle dropped, featuring the line, “I got better things to do than find someone to beef with.” Some social media users claimed that it was a shot at Kendrick Lamar. But soon after, media personality DJ Hed tweeted that he spoke with Sean who told him that the bar was not intended for Lamar, but rather a “different Gemini.”

That led to speculation that it was pointing at West, who is also a Gemini and helped nurture Sean’s career at its onset. The two had some recent friction after West claimed in 2021 that signing Sean was “the worst thing I’ve ever done.” Somewhere on the web, a user named bigseandon811 took offense to this perceived slight on Sean’s freestyle and claimed that Ye himself told him to leak the album in its entirety.

“Since he wanna disrespect Ye so much, here’s the album,” the user wrote. “Fuck him and his whole team.” They posted 14 tracks, which Variety was able to quickly locate.

Various representatives for Big Sean did not immediately respond to Variety‘s requests for c -

omment.

The leak begins with the track “Nintendo Switch Superstar,” which touts a sample of Willie Hutch’s “Mack’s Stroll (The Getaway)” — the same that Usher previously used for 2004’s “Superstar.” Nas is featured on “Poor Sportsmanship,” while Charlie Wilson makes an appearance on “BTC (Lift Them Boys Up)” and what sounds like Brent Faiyaz shows up on “Raining P’s.”

Though the album itself didn’t sound entirely finished — there was empty space on some tracks for potential new verses — Sean himself acknowledged the alleged leak hours after it hit the internet. “Might as well start droppin, before they leak it all, god damn,” he wrote on social media, teasing a new song produced by Alchemist.

It’s unclear what the album title is, as the leaker referred to it as “Feelings & Random Thots” and stated that an alternative title was “Better Me Than You.” It’s been four years since Sean dropped a proper album, releasing “Detroit 2” in 2020 followed by the EP “What You Expect” with Hit-Boy in 2021. That same year, he left West’s G.O.O.D. Music label after 14 years.
