Ashley Benson Gives Rare Update on Baby Daughter Aspen, Says Dressing Her Up Is ‘So Much Fun’ (Exclusive)

The actress and her husband Brandon Davis welcomed their first baby, daughter Aspen, in February

Ashley Benson loves playing dress up with her little girl.

At the VIP launch event for the CYBEX by Jeremy Scott Car Collection in Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 5, the Pretty Little Liars star, 34, tells PEOPLE she’s been having so much fun as a new mom to daughter Aspen, 3 months, whom she shares with husband Brandon Davis, 43.

“I’m a new mom, so that’s been very fun,” she says. 

When asked about dressing her daughter, the actress says, “Oh my God, it's so much fun.”

“She's mostly in little cute onesies and stuff, but we're taking her on vacation at the end of the summer, so I have all of her little dresses and the accessories. I mean, -

it's so much fun,” she shares, adding, “Having a girl is the best.”

Benson explains that she doesn’t usually plan out her daughter’s outfits in advance. “I just kind of put her in, whatever. You know what I mean? Because she's only 3 months, so she doesn't know.”

“But it's been so much fun. It's the best to dress up the baby,” she adds.

Benson recently celebrated her first Mother's Day as a mom, marking the milestone by revealing that she and Davis welcomed a daughter, and shared photos of the baby girl for the first time.

The actress, who announced the birth of her and Davis’ child back in February, revealed the sex of her little one on Instagram, where she also dedicated an entire post to her daughter.

“Being your mom is the best gift of all 💕,” she captioned the photo.
