Cameron Brink’s boyfriend, Ben Felter, has been especially supportive of her career as an athlete himself.

The Los Angeles Sparks star has been dating Felter for over three years after meeting at Stanford University, where they were both student-athletes. After graduating in 2024, Brink signed with the Sparks as the second pick in the WNBA draft in April and made her professional debut the following month.

Felter also graduated in 2024 after competing on the school’s rowing team. He’s been supportive of Brink’s career since, posting a photo of her at the draft with purple and yellow hearts in honor of the Sparks’ colors.

So who is Cameron Brink’s boyfriend? Here’s everything to know about Ben Felter and his relationship with the athlete.

Originally from Palo Alto, Calif., Felter signed to Stanford in October 2019 as a member of their rowing team. In his junior year, he was starboard, rowing in the No. 5 seat on Stanford's second Varsity Eight at the IRA Championships, per his athlete bio.

Felter was also a two-time IRCA scholar-athlete and was on the honor roll throughout his college experience.

In addition to rowing, Felter spent his time in college studying computer science, resulting in a number of internships, per his LinkedIn. He worked as a software engineer at Kaladin, a cryptocurrency startup, in the summer before his junior year.

As of August 2022, he started working at the Defense Innovative Unit, which is part of the U.S. Department of Defense, where he is now a portfolio analyst part-time.

Felter grew up close to his two brothers, Max and Darby, often posting them on his Instagram. In January 2015, he shared a story of how they hung him up on a tree, promising to return shortly to take him off, only proceeding to come back 30 minutes later.

“When they did come back, they just gave me a spoon full sic of Nutella and left,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of him taped to the tree. “The next time they came back, they took a picture and left.”

He continued, “After an hour, my dad came and cut me down. He didn -

't believe me when I told how long I had been up there and just walked away. It wasn't as fun as thought it was going to be.”

Both Max and Derby attended West Point Academy and enjoy the outdoors as much as Felter does. The three took a trip to Europe together, including a stop in Paris, in June 2023.

Felter and Brink began dating on March 10, 2021. Both celebrated their three year anniversary with sweet posts on Instagram, with Felter writing, “Three years together, a day to celebrate the soul that makes me whole ❤️.”

While Brink mainly keeps her relationship off of social media, she marks special occasions like their anniversary and his birthday on her Instagram yearly. For his birthday in January 2023, Brink posted a sweet carousel of the two of them throughout their relationship.

“I love to love you & I’m so proud to call you mine. Happy birthday 🤟🏻🥂🤍,” she wrote in the caption.

Felter often posts his adventures on Instagram but above hiking and travelling, he seems to enjoy surfing the most — and even taught Brink how to surf.

She posted a photo of the couple catching some waves in July 2023, writing, “The best teacher ????????‍♀️????” in the caption.

The two have also enjoyed beach days together as well as hikes in the California mountains.

In June 2024, Brink told PEOPLE that Felter has also turned her into "a huge art lover."

"I love pottery and watercolor, even though I'm terrible," she said. "It's really lovely to just sit down and work your brain in a different way for a little bit,"

While Felter has been lowkey about his support of Brink, he often leaves encouraging comments on her Instagram posts about her basketball career.

After Brink was named the defensive player of the year in March 2024, Felter commented, “LETS GOOOO” on her post, and after she was drafted to the Sparks, he posted a photo of her on his story, writing, “Beyond proud.”
