Police are searching for suspects in the shooting death of 24-year-old Andrei "Nico" Gianan.

On New Year’s Eve, Gianan left work in San Pedro and went to Manhattan Beach, where he was fatally struck in the head on the 1400 block of 11th Street, according to Fox 11. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Jan. 1, and now, the family is hoping to find answers. According to Manhattan Beach News, the Manhattan Beach Police Department does not believe this was a random attack.

“This was a total, senseless act of violence and he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. The pain that this has left us is unimaginable,” his GoFundMe page reads.

In an update posted Sunday, the family shared that Gianan was an organ donor and his heart, lung, liver, kidneys and pancreas will be donated.

“Nico's light lives on the many lives he will save," the fundraiser reads.

Two of Giana -

n’s four siblings, Karl and Nina, told Fox 11 that they “will not stop” until they get justice in the case.

“Nico was known for his infectious smile, his goofy personality, and his big heart/ Deep in his thoughts, carefree in expressing ideas, likes, and dislikes and has an easygoing personality that everyone loves,” the family wrote in his GoFundMe. “He was shy but observant. Daring but sometimes overly cautious.”

It continued: “He was never about himself but about others at all times. He could make the whole room laugh and was a joy to be with.”
