Chip and Joanna Gaines are celebrating 21 years of marriage!

On Saturday, June 1, Joanna, 46, posted a tribute to her spouse and Fixer Upper co-host, 49, on Instagram.

"Twenty One Years. You've always had a way of taking a thought or a quiet dream I've tucked away, and helped me step into it and make it a reality," the mother of five wrote to her husband, sharing a set of photos of the couple taken in New York City 21 years apart.

"What a journey, a wild and crazy (yet somehow peaceful) ride. So grateful to God for this life we get to share together. NYC 2024 ➡️ NYC 2003 @chipgaines❤️," she added.

Chip and Joanna got married on May 31, 2003, in their hometown of Waco, Texas.

In a post on her Instagram Stories, the Magnolia founder reflected on how little her husband's style has evolved over the years.

"Did not plan this--notice he has the same style @ariatinternation -

al boots on, the same style @gap jeans, & a white shirt," Joanna wrote over a closeup of Chip's outfits. "And his stance is extacly the same. All that's missing is his bracelet from Cancun."

The couple — who is parents to Drake, 19, Ella, 17, Duke, 16, Emmie, 14, and Crew, 5 — reflected on the changes in their relationship after decades of marriage in a PEOPLE cover story in November 2023.

"I would say, as we're getting older, I'm shifting and I'm more like Chip, and Chip is more like me," Joanna said at the time.

"Jo and I are in this beautiful moment. We're evolving into each other," added Chip. "It's the second part of our marriage."

Joanna also noted that she's trying to face more fears as she gets older, and Chip is happy to support her.

“I want to be her biggest cheerleader. I’m like, ‘Hey, you go do whatever. My knees are killing me,' " he joked.
