Cher is ready to tell-all.

On Wednesday, July 24, the pop icon revealed that she will be releasing a memoir in two parts, with the first half — Cher: The Memoir, Part One — due this fall.

According to a press release, Cher: The Memoir, Part One "follows her extraordinary beginnings through childhood to meeting and marrying Sonny Bono — and reveals the highly complicated relationship that made them world-famous, but eventually drove them apart."

Featuring Cher's "trademark honesty and humor," the book details "how this diamond in the rough succeeded with no plan and little confidence to become the trailblazing superstar the world has been unable to ignore for more than half a century."

The memoir showcases the singer-songwriter as "the daughter, the sister, the wife, the lover, the mother, and the superstar."

"It is a life too immense for only one book," the press release states.

Cher: The Memoir, Part Two will be released in 2025.

To celebrate the news, Cher also shared the cover to Instagram, which features a black-and-white image of the "Believe" singer featuring her long, dark hair and winged eyeliner. In the image, she has her hand -

over her head while she is leaning sideways.

On the cover, Cher's name is featured in a gradient of blue to pink. The remainder of the title is featured in white font at the bottom.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November, the Moonstruck actress opened up about not feeling entirely ready to share her full story

While Cher didn't have a title for it at the time, Jimmy Fallon teased that it should be "I Got Scoops Babe,” a riff on her classic with Sonny Bono “I Got You Babe.” He later joked that it should be called "Over-Chering."

“I just totally chickened out. I didn’t put in some things that need to be in, and they’re not comfortable,” she said. “But they need to be put in, so I have to go back and man up.”

Cher added: “I’ve lived too long and done too much, and so it’s like it should be the encyclopedia.”

Cher: The Memoir, Part One will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 19 via Dey Street Books.
