'The Holiday' Star Rufus Sewell Marries Actress Vivian Benitez at 11th Century Castle in Wales — See the Photos

Rufus Sewell has tied the knot!

Seven months after the news of his engagement, the Diplomat star, 56, married actress Vivian Benitez at Manorbier Castle in West Wales. The couple was seen posing for photos in their wedding attire, greeting their guests and holding hands as they strolled the grounds of the historic 11th-century site.

Sewell, who starred alongside Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Kate Winslet as Iris' (Winslet) cheating ex, Jasper, in the 2006 film The Holiday sported a simple cream suit and dark tie, while his bride, 27, wore a white off-the-shoulder gown with a corseted bodice and tulle sleeves.

According to its website, Manorbier Castle — which is located near Tenby — is perched on cliffs that overlook Manorbier Beach. Photographs show a series of tents set up outdoors on the lawn for Sewell and Benitez's summer nuptials.

PEOPLE reached out to Sewell's rep for comment on the wedding news, but did not receive an immediate response.

This is the Scoop star's third marriage. He was previously wed to fashion journalist Yasmin Abdallah from 1999 to 2000. He married producer Amy Gardner in 2004, and the pair — who share son William Douglas, 22 — divorced in 2006. Sewell also shares a daughter named Lola, born in 2013, with hairstylist Ami Komai.

The proposal seemingly took place in Italy, as Benitez also shared aphotoof herself in front of the Trevi Fountain with the caption, "3am in Rome."

On Monday, July 22, Benitez shared a behind-the-scenes look at her bachelorette party on Instagram, with a photo carousel showing her posing while wearing a tiara, veil and sash. Other shots captured the various festivities as the bride-to-be celebrated with friends and loved ones.

"HEN NIGHT ????," she wrote in the post's caption, tagging the party venue Babington House, a Soho House property in Frome, England.

While Sewell and Benitez have kept their romance pretty private, they have stepped out together publicly several times. Most recently, they walked the red carpet at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards, where Sewell's Netflix show The Diplomat was nominated for best drama series. Benitez also supported her now-husband at The Diplomat's New York City premiere in May 2023.

Last year, Benitez shared a glimpse of their relationship in an Instagram post featuring highlights from a trip to Wales. One photo captured her and Sewell kissing on the beach in their swimsuits. She captioned the post, "3 days of bliss on the pembrokeshire coast with my mama and my love."
