Ryan Reynolds' appreciation for Blake Lively is on a superhero level.

On Tuesday, July 23, the actor re-shared a post from Vanity Fair to his Instagram Stories which showed off the Deadpool & Wolverine-inspired outfits that his wife and friend Gigi Hadid wore for the recent premiere of his movie.

"Sweet Jiminy Marvel Jesus And Mary Chain," wrote Reynolds, 47, tagging the outlet.

Lively, 36, and Hadid, 29, coordinated their superhero-worthy looks both on the red carpet in New York City and at an afterparty on Monday, July 22, with the It Ends with Us actress in Deadpool red and the supermodel rocking Wolverine yellow.

At the premiere, Lively wore a custom long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder red bodysuit by Versace with intricate designs, perfect for a night of fashionable crime-fighting. Her hair was pulled back into a high ponytail. Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Ofira jewels added a bit of bling to the look.

Hadid opted for a custom Miu Miu SS24 RTW yellow set consisting of a logo tube top with a matching low-rise yellow skirt. She paired it with a yellow purse from the fashion house (adorned withString Ting’sBig Love Shorty Bag Charm) and black pumps. The model also wore a vintage Chanel Small Coins Necklace fromvintage boutique What Goes Around Comes Around, and Alexis Bittar bangles.

Hours later, the friends stepped out at Jazz at Lincoln Center in another set of ensembles dedicated to the film's titular comic book characters and their signature shades. < -

Lively arrived arm-in-arm with husbandReynoldsin a blue ruched Balmain minidress lined with red enamel roses from the brand's Spring/Summer 2024 collection, complete with red pumps. The Gossip Girl alum added more red accents to her look with a bow of the same color in her hair, which she wore in a sweeping high ponytail, a red lip and red nails.

Hadid sported a bright-yellow latex LaQuan Smith coat over a black bodysuit. She accessorized her striking look with matching yellow So Kate Christian Louboutin pumps, a yellowMiu Miu Matelassé leather bagand large gold jewelry including earrings, a statement necklace and an anklet.

Speaking with PEOPLE during the evening, Lively joked thatrather than supporting Reynolds, "he's supporting" her at the premiere.

"He's here supporting me, and I'm very grateful for his support tonight," she said with a laugh.

The following day, Lively recalled her experience meeting *NSYNC membersJC Chasez,Lance Bass,Chris KirkpatrickandJoey Fatonethe previous night.

Lively added a special thank you to her husband for "being the most romantic person on the planet and making all of my dreams come true last night via @deadpoolmovie." She added, "10 year old, and also 36 year old me is sobbing."
