Mark Zuckerberg's daughter is officially a published author!
The Meta CEO, 40, shared on Instagram on Monday, Sept. 30 that his daughter August, 6, wrote her own book — and is already working on a sequel. Sharing a carousel of photos, Zuckerberg included a few images from her children's book, which were illustrated using Meta's artificial intelligence (AI).
"My daughter August wrote a book, The Mermaid Crystal, and we used Meta AI to illustrate the book and create this trailer," Zuckerberg wrote in his caption. "And yes, a sequel is already in the works. Proud dad!"

Zuckerberg shares his three daughters – August, Maxima "Max," 8, and Aurelia, 17 months — with wife Dr. Priscilla Chan.
Earlier in September, the proud dad shared an adorable photoon Instagramwith his daughter Aurelia as he read her a bedtime story. In the sweet picture, Zuckerberg wore a gray T-shirt and gold chain, beaming down at his daughter as she sweetly grinned back up at him.

In May, Zuckerberg and his wife shared photoson Instagramfrom the Meta founder's 40th birthday celebration, whichincluded several rare photosof the couple's three daughters.
In Chan's post, Zuckerberg could be seen having fun at his party while his wife carried their youngest, Aurelia. In another photo, the couple shared a kiss outside as they were surrounded by their three daughters.
Zuckerberg's post shared more scenes from his birthday party, including a sweet photo of the tech CEO and his daughters in a recreation of his childhood bedroom, where Zuckerberg learned to code.
"Grateful for my first 40 years! Priscilla threw me a little party and recreated a bunch of places I lived in the early days," Zuckerberg wrote in his caption, taking time to highlight each of the spaces featured at his birthday.
"(6) Showing my girls the room I grew up in," the dad of three wrote of the picture with his daughters.
