Vanessa Hudgens has a lot to celebrate.

On Wednesday, July 3, the actress, 35, shared a sweet post for her husband, Cole Tucker, as he celebrated his 28th birthday — and hours later, the couple officially became parents as they were seen leaving the hospital with their newborn.

"Happy birthday to my slice of heaven @cotuck ????," Hudgens wrote in a post on Instagram as she shared a carousel of cute photos with the baseball player, who she wed in December. "You make the world a brighter place just by being you ♥️????????."

Among the photos were two cute shots of the actress during her pregnancy, including one of their visit to the Sphere and a photo of them kissing on the field after Tucker made his pitching debut for the Los Angeles Angels last month.

Hours after Hudgens' post, she was seen leaving a Santa Monica hospital with Tucker by her side, per photos obtained by TMZ.

The High School Musical alum revealed her pregnancy in style as she debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the Oscars in March, just three months after she and Tucker tied the knot.

She has kept things largely private during the pregn -

ancy, though she told E! News in May that she plans to show her kids "all her work."

"That's why I chose things along the way in my career," she said of her resumé. "I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age."

During her pregnancy, the actress was also juggling her various work responsibilities, including finishing filming Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

Will Smith revealed that Hudgens' bump presented a challenge at times when production picked back up after the strike, as he told Entertainment Tonight, "It was really about trying to figure out how to shoot around the bump."

Calling her a "hard worker," Smith, 55, who is a father of three himself, said he reminded his costar when stunts proved to be a challenge, "You'll always be able to tell your child that they were in this scene with you."
