You probably won't find Kim Gordon at The Tortured Poets Department anytime soon.

The 71-year-old Sonic Youth rocker revealed Taylor Swift's music isn't exactly her cup of tea in a new interview with The Guardian, explaining that she isn't even very familiar with the Grammy winner's material.

Gordon's thoughts on Swift, 34, came up when she was asked to name her "most controversial pop culture opinion" and told the publication, "I don’t know if it’s controversial, but I’m not really a fan of Taylor Swift."

"I couldn’t tell you what her music sounded like, actually," added the Girl in a Band author. "When it comes to pop icons, I would choose Billie Eilish."

One thing Gordon does know about Swift's artistry, however, is her diary-like lyricism. In a February interview with The Guardian to promote her latest album, The Collective, she compared her current writing style to Swift's.

"Sure I’m journalling, just like Taylor Swift," said Gordon at the time. "But you know, I’m not writing about sad things. Well I guess a little sad. There is something about that kind of writing that’s powerful. It’s something you can do right now."

Elsewhere in the February interview, Gordon similarly expressed not being familiar -

with Swift's catalog and spoke to whether or not she would open for the pop superstar on tour.

"I don’t know. Because I don’t think her audience would like it. It has to be a little bit of a fit," she said. "Even when Sonic Youth toured with Neil Young, it was really hard, seeing hippies sitting there giving you the finger."

Gordon continued, "Also, I couldn’t tell you what her music sounds like, but I was on a plane with all her fans recently on the way to Utah and they were all wearing merch. That I quite like. I think I’d just take a sweatshirt."
